Benefits of Noni Fruit

The noni fruit when young, is green and turns to yellow when ripe. Noni can reproduce through stem cuttings and seeds. It will begin to produce fruit after about three years of planting and will produce fruit throughout the year. Noni began commercializing in Hawaii in 1993 after finding medicinal properties inside the fruit. Noni is a plant commonly found in tropical regions. Noni, can generally be categorized into two types, Big and small. It can also be categorized into seeds and non seeds, but non seeds are very rare and difficult ti find, the noni fruit began as medicine from South Pacific, then in China and India. Noni has been used during the Second World War by the army in the island Polenisia to prevent fatigue and strengthen the body. In the Caribbean, it is known as a pain killer, the noni tree is used to relieve pain and fever, swelling and sprains. In Myanmar, the young fruit is made into stew. In Malaysia, the noni fruit is usually used as an antidote for uncomfortable urination, cramping and bleeding. Noni leaves are used as a mixture showers for women after childbirth to restore the vitality. It is said it can relieve bleeding after childbirth.


Young shoots are used as vegetables and can be made into salads. It is rich in vitamin A. The flowers are small yellowish green colour and fragrant. Fruit is a round of chicken eggs, the surface is quite porish. Taking Noni juice can also prevent diseases caused by hormonal deficiencies such as senile and slow the aging process (anti oxidant ). However, Noni is lowering blood glucose for diabetics who take insulin, blood glucose should be monitored often, because if blood sugar is too low, it will result in hipoglisomia that will cause the patient become very woozy.
